Siam IMBA Admissions


 
Admission to Siam University’s International MBA program is based upon both academic ability and managerial potential. Academic ability is evaluated by the applicant's past academic performance, recommendations, and performance on a TOEFL examination or similar measure of English proficiency. Managerial potential is evaluated by the applicant's general experience, work experience, motivation, communication skills and commitment to attain a graduate management education. These characteristics are evaluated through information provided on the Admission Application, letters of recommendation, personal statement of experience/goals, and an interview with the applicant.

The Admissions Committee reviews completed applications promptly, with a notice of the decision mailed to the applicant within a week. Students are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Incomplete applications or those lacking any transcript or the application fee will not be considered until they are complete. Incomplete applications will be discarded after one year.

Applicants to the Siam University MBA Program are required to have:

• A Bachelor degree from an accredited university or colleg .recognized by the Civil Service Commission of the Royal Thai Government.
• A GPA of 2.50 or higher on a 4.00 scale for their undergraduate degree
• Taken an entrance examination administered by Siam University’s MBA Program or its qualified partners in English (Either a 6.5 on IELTS score or 550 on the TOFEL paper based test or 213 on TOFEL computer based, or have graduated from an International program at a four year college recognized by the Thai Commission on Higher Education may be used as an equivalent for the English examination. Scores are valid for 2 years.)
•A short interview in English with two of the English committee

3. Complete English test or meet requirement
4. Interviews can be arranged to fit evening schedules
5. Admission decisions are made weekly
6. Admissions are on a first come first served basis
7. Classes begin in January


Checklist for Applying

• Completed application form, signed and dated
• 2,000 Baht application fee - cash, check or money order payable to Siam University. This fee is not refundable.
• Official transcripts in sealed envelopes from each undergraduate, graduate, and professional school attended, including Siam University, if applicable
• 2 letters of recomendation in sealed envelopes
• Resume
